Collecting Model Cars As A Hobby

Collecting Model Cars
When I was a kid, I vividly remember watching motor racing from my parents old black and white television. Obviously I had no idea the color of the racing cars, but again, I did in my mind's eye I could see all of them were bright red. I would like to see the great drivers of the time as Graham Hill, Jim Clark and Jackie Stewart and my heart jumped when Ferrari came child first.
I knew from an early age that when GREW up I wanted to be a race driver, which meet all these famous drivers and wonderful, most they were my idols. One day I would also like to compete.
As soon as he finished the race on TV I prepare for my own race, immediately rushed to the closet where I kept my toy box and get my Race Car model. These cars I absolutely valuable, despite its sometimes poor the state. They came in all sizes, all colors and made of tin, miniatures and even plastic. However, whatever their size or color Ferrari's me were all red and all of them competing in "my" career. Often, the race would go off the road, on my bed on my pillow and down again. Then go to bed and read my books and car magazines and then at night dreaming of competing with a Ferrari.
When I became a teenager and I bought my first "real" car, my parents assumed that was now too old to keep my old toy model cars and what is delivered, but without knowing anyone who had kept secret a few. Hide them not far from the shame I do not think, but I was wondering what people think of me keep some cars very old and very battered from my early childhood, which I recognize it now, sometimes I was out of hiding and ran through the still night.
When I grew up much more I did not care what they thought of me and my love for model cars and what brought them out of hiding and put in a place of honor on a shelf for all to see. I was amazed at how my old Car Models has to speak and it is curious how so many men my age have a life parallels mine, which also loved his model cars of his youth and that they also dreamed of racing a Ferrari. That's when I decided I wanted some model cars again he had lost. My quest had begun ............
We all remember the great racers of our youth and took the big cars, I think as I do, that leads to that in later life. Today there are some great Ferrari models that are, some of the best I've recently discovered Ixo La Storia are the Ferrari Formula 1 collection, covering drivers past and present. I would have loved these models as a child. The quality and presentation of these models is excellent, absolutely nothing to do with the old model of the cars I grew up with. There are also some large tin models these days, again not like my childhood tin cars, but having said that I still love collecting tin cars in the past, no matter if they are a bit battered and play with them, was mine, which authenticates them somehow.
Collect model cars of his childhood brings a very warm feeling and memories just come from blow.
